About the Job:

Beach Krew is seeking a proactive Store Manager to lead our seasonal Avalon store. As a brand ambassador, you will cultivate a service culture and mentor a passionate team of associates.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead by example on the sales floor, ensuring high-level customer service.
  • Monitor sales performance and set actionable plans.
  • Collaborate with marketing, eCommerce, and operations.
  • Foster client satisfaction and develop retention strategies.
  • Host community events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Manage inventory and oversee financial aspects.
  • Attract and retain a high-performing team through coaching.

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of sales management experience in retail (bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Proven ability to drive sales and lead high-performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen and exceptional communication skills.
  • Flexible, organized, and open to working retail hours.

Position: Part-Time Sales Associate – Avalon, NJ

Hours: Part-Time (15-25 hours per week) Location: Avalon BK (2005 Dune Dr) Reporting To: Store Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for personable and motivated individuals to assist with the success of our Avalon store. You will greet customers and support day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a brand ambassador, building relationships with customers.
  • Greet and assist customers on the sales floor.
  • Drive sales through product knowledge and personalized style guidance.
  • Assist with merchandising and inventory management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Help organize in-store events and create engaging content for marketing.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Retail experience preferred; Shopify POS experience is a plus.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and organized.
  • Comfortable learning multiple software systems and troubleshooting.
  • Available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to lift ~30 lb boxes occasionally.

  • Currently hiring for the upcoming season; housing is not provided.

Position: Warehouse Manager – Full-Time

Location: New Jersey (On-Site)
Reporting To: Founder / Leadership Team


About the Role

BeachKrew is growing and we're looking for a full-time Warehouse Manager to own and elevate our warehouse operations as we scale. We are looking for someone who will take full ownership of our warehouse systems, inventory accuracy, damage process, blank production pipeline, and daily fulfillment operations.

You will work closely with leadership as we transition to a structured, scalable system.

What You'll Do:

Fulfillment & Daily Operations

  • Oversee all daily packing and shipping
  • Ensure timely order processing and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, efficient warehouse layout
  • Coordinate transfers between warehouse and retail stores
  • Maintain inventory levels and restock stores as needed

Damage Process Ownership

You will fully own the damage pipeline from store to resale:

  • Manage damage coding on POS and Shopify location setup
  • Verify and process damaged transfers from store managers
  • Organize, label, and store damaged inventory in designated bins
  • Prepare and process items for resale via POS Go
  • Maintain accurate inventory and prevent shrink

Blank Inventory Process Management

BeachKrew operates with a blanks-to-production model. You will manage this pipeline:

  • Receive blank product at warehouse and perform QC checks upon arrival
  • Log and verify purchase orders in Shopify
  • Organize blanks into designated warehouse shelving/bins
  • Update and maintain the BeachKrew Blank Pipeline
  • Communicate shipment arrivals in Slack
  • Create internal POs for production allocation
  • Transfer inventory from Warehouse → Manufacturer for production

Systems & Inventory Management

  • Maintain inventory accuracy across Shopify and POS
  • Create and manage internal POs and oversee location transfers
  • Monitor discrepancies and troubleshoot issues
  • Improve warehouse layout and process flow as we scale
  • Build scalable SOPs and documentation

Location: Remote (Hybrid welcome — bonus points if you're down the shore in the summer)

About the Role

BeachKrew is looking for a creative, self-driven Social Media Manager to own our Instagram and TikTok presence. This isn't a "post and ghost" role — we want someone who genuinely lives on these platforms, understands what actually performs, and can bring the BeachKrew energy to life online and make it make sense.

You'll work directly with the founder on brand voice and creative direction, with real ownership over execution. There's room to grow with us — fast.

What You'll Do:

  • Content Calendar: Plan, create, schedule, and post across Instagram and TikTok
  • Short-Form Video: Ideate and edit Reels and TikToks, or coordinate with creators
  • Community Management: Respond to comments and DMs, build genuine connection with the Krew
  • Growth Strategy: Bring results, not just content — own the numbers
  • Reporting: Monthly recap of what's working, what's not, and what's next
  • Campaigns: Coordinate with the founder on seasonal launches, new collections, and wholesale moments

Who You Are:

  • You genuinely live for this — you know what works for us (not just trends) and the best, authentic way to build
  • 1–3 years of social media experience, ideally for a lifestyle, fashion, or coastal brand
  • You can write captions that are engaging, fun, and on-brand — not corporate
  • Self-directed and don't need hand-holding to hit a deadline
  • You have a portfolio or examples of accounts you've grown or managed
  • Excited by a brand that's scaling — you want to be part of building something

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, or Adobe for content creation
  • Eye for photography and UGC curation
  • Familiarity with beach, surf, or coastal lifestyle culture
  • Experience with paid social is a bonus for monitoring our agencies — but not required (we have a marketing agency for emails, ads, and a Pinterest manager already in place)

Details:

  • Part-time to start: approx. 15–20 hours/week
  • Remote — work from wherever (bonus points if it's near a beach)
  • Compensation: competitive, commensurate with experience
  • Start date: ASAP / late March preferred
  • Growth path: real potential to grow into full-time as we scale

Our Founder

Karlee Hart, founder of Beachkrew, transformed her childhood entrepreneurial spirit into a prosperous business journey. She was studying Accounting and Entrepreneurship at University of Delaware when the pandemic drastically changed college life in 2020. Karlee embraced the new lifestyle and searched for opportunities to make an impact. Out of the basement at home in NJ, she began creating and selling hats as 'hatsbykarlee' at the end of her Junior Year in May 2021, age 21.

With help from family and friends, she built the business from her childhood home and college bedroom. The success of this initial venture led her to quickly expand her product offerings and rebrand as 'Beachkrew', inspired by her common love for the coastal lifestyle and a strong desire to make beach town apparel better.
